১৯৭১ সালের ১৬ই ডিসেম্বর যাদের অবদানে এ কৃতিত্ব তাদের স্বরণে আজ কত লিখা লিখি কত উৎসব কিন্তু তারা তো আমাদের এ উৎসব চান না। তারা চান আখিরাতে শান্তি। হয়তো বা আমাদের কারো না কারো দোয়া আল্লাহ তায়ালা কবুল করবেন। তাই তাদের জন্য নামায এবং কোরান তিলাওয়াত করে দোয়া করা প্রয়োজন। তারা আমাদের বিজয় দিয়েছেন! আর আমরা কি এতটাই অকৃতজ্ঞ যে তাদের যা পাওনা তা না দিয়ে নাচ গানে মেতে থাকি। আমরা কেমন জাতী? যে অন্যের নুন খেয়ে গুণ তো গাইনা বরং নিজের অজান্তে তাদের ক্ষতিই করে যাচ্ছি। সুতরাং সচেতন জাতী হিসেবে সচেতনতা বজাই রাখা দরকার। ধৈর্য সহকারে পড়ার জন্য, ধন্যবাদ।
